Mogu is an italian startup founded on the belief that it is possible to employ Nature’s intelligence to radically disrupt the design of everyday products, seeking a finer balance between the man-made and the rhythms of the natural ecosystem. Over the years, Mogu explored the potential of mycelium-based technologies in diverse application sectors developing a range of materials with different performances, from soft and foam-like to strong and high-density.

Utrecht University offers inspiring education and leading research of international quality. In my-fi is involved the Science Faculty which is the largest science faculty of the Netherlands and is home to over 5900 students and 1400 employees, working together towards a better world.

Processing and finishing

Filk is a branch institute of the leather and plastic sheeting industries, founded in 1889 as German tanning school. FILK has a long-lasting expertise in leather production, processing and characterisation. Starting with artificial leather substitutes, the production, processing and characterisation of various plastic fabrics (conventional as well as biopolymers) has become the other major department at FILK.

LEITAT is a Spanish Technological Research Centre specialized in production technologies. It provides R&D activities in the areas of materials science, environment, surface treatments, biotechnologies and renewable energies with deep knowledge and experience in technological transfer to several industrial sectors.

AITEX is a Spanish non-profit association that encompasses textile and textile-related companies. The institute promotes modernization and the introduction of new and emerging technologies by developing R&D projects and, in general, any initiatives that will contribute to the industrial progress of the sector.

ITECH-Lyon is a French engineering School, member of the Conference des Grandes Ecoles (CGE). It was formerly the French School of Tannery trains engineers and technicians in all fields of chemistry relating to paints, inks, adhesives, cosmetics, plastic materials, textile materials, and leather (shoes, maroquinerie).
